Error #1 when initialising the Frame Grabber with Windows ME

mvGAMMA-G, mvTITAN-C16, mvTITAN-C8, mvTITAN-CL, mvTITAN-DIG, mvTITAN-G1, mvTITAN-RGB/G4, pcIMAGE-SC, pcIMAGE-SDIG, pcIMAGE-SG/SGVS, pcIMAGE-SRGB

The reason for that is caused by the system safety mechanism of Windows ME which
doesn"t accept any changes in the file autoexec.bat. For the allocation of the physical
DMA buffer an entry in the autoexec.bat is necessary. That means the installation of
the driver changes the autoexec.bat, and the safty mechanism restors the original file
without any care of any changes. As a result of that no DMA buffer can be allocated
and the driver recognizes that and generates the error #1 and aborts the initialization.
At the moment no reliable method is know to deactivate this mechanism.
On several homepages an MS-DOS patch for Windows ME is available but the result
of our tests was that on some systems this patch didn"t work. So we can not suggest
this patch as a general solution for this effect.
